For the NeuroGaming Conference & Expo 2014, Helios was engaged to develop a custom application showcasing facial animation technology. Using the FaceShift platform, we built an experience that would allow participants to interact with a digital character. Little did they know that the character would be able to respond to them directly while being controlled by the ‘man behind the curtain’. In this way we were able to create a live dialogue between attendees and the character directly, demonstrating the power of real-time facial animation and emotion detection which wow’d audiences and created a truly unique interaction.
